Description

Check how the PacketLib library and configuration files can be used to parse housekeeping telemetry using the PUS format. For this issue, one hour of LFI housekeeping telemetry is provided. The attached FITS file, 1538.000.fits, provides telemetry generated by APID 1538. In particular, the 'CONTENT' column of the binary table contains, in each raw, a single PUS telemetry packet. The file contains data from OD 1022, hour 04_47_04. The Planck team in Bologna is also keeping timelines of the entire Planck/LFI mission. You can cross-check the results of the parser with the HK parameters of the corresponding LFI HK TOIs (Time Ordered Information).

MIB tables, defining the LFI housekeeping telemetry, have been sent by e-mail to Enrico Franceschi (who is part of the Planck collaboration). An additional document is the LFI user manual, available on livelink:

http://www.rssd.esa.int/llink/livelink/2888959/LFI_Instrument_User_Manual_no_CB_v_4.0.pdf?func=doc.Fetch&nodeid=2888959

see section 11.1.7 for service 3,25, to start the exercise.

The SCOS MIB ICD was already sent to Massimo Trifoglio some time ago. It should be available as a reference document in the wiki.
